JUSPConsult exists to provide consultancy and advisory services to support online content usage data management. JUSPConsult capitalises on the skills and expertise of the JUSP and IRUS-UK development team to offer services to a variety of audiences ranging from advice and consultancy through to fully hosted services.
JUSPConsult is managed by a consortium based in the UK. The consortium involves Jisc Collections, Jisc Mimas, Evidence Base at Birmingham City University and Cranfield University.
The JUSPConsult team is focused on providing excellent customer service. At the outset of your project we will spend time with you to identify your specific requirements and to agree a schedule for completion of the project. We will work with you throughout to ensure that your project delivers on time and on budget.
JUSP gathers usage data using the SUSHI Protocol (http://www.niso.org/workrooms/sushi) for machine-to-machine data collection. IRUS-UK uses a tracker protocol (http://www.irus.mimas.ac.uk/help/toolbox/TrackerProtocol-V3-2014-04-22.pdf) and tracker code plugins and patches have initially been developed for DSpace and EPrints repositories. We are also working with Fedora repositories and aim to work with users of other repository software going forward.
